Many business owners discuss several issues when they are deciding if an LLC incorporation is the right entity for the business. There are several other promising entity choices to consider including S corporations, C corporations and partnerships. Limited liability companies just so happen to offer a perfect blend of advantages that the other choices dont.

Steps to an LLC Incorporation
Many documents must be filed in order for an LLC incorporation to occur. First, the Secretary of State must receive articles of incorporation for the LLC in addition to a filing fee. In addition, the company needs to file an application with the Secretary of State to reserve the name of the business.

The LLC incorporation will not be valid if the words limited liability company or LLC are not included in the name. The Secretary of State requires all companies to indicate in their name what type of entity they have chosen. The last requirement is for the LLC to designate a registered agent with the Secretary of State.

An LLC incorporation is definitely a longer process than forming a partnership. Even though this is true, limited liability companies are still a common choice for small businesses. Forming corporations like these doesnt have to take up your time. All you have to do is hire registered agents to do all of the work in half of the time.
